Limited Harm

The review seemed to come down to the Shepherd having the wrong personality.  Most of the comments were very positive.  And then the main criticism is that the Shepherd is not out going enough.  Never mind that his deep contemplative preaching is a result of that very personality.  Or that he is very likable.

I get so frustrated with the lack of focus or leadership of the elders.  I am biting my tongue.

the shepherd is one of the most honest open people I know. I am certain that he represented himself honestly at his interview. They liked him enough to hire him, he was outgoing enough then but not now? whatever.

I have no doubt the Shepherd represented himself honestly. He sensed before the interview what kind of place this would be. He was hoping to deter the church by being very forthcoming. That was part of knowing we were called here… because the church hired him despite the honesty.
