The shepherd is away on business right now — not church business, but business. He is being asked how he likes where we are and if it was the right decision. We could have made a move last year to be full-time in our business.
It is easy to second guess the frustrations of being here. The real question is whether going full time would have been better than where we are. Our girls go to a Christian school down the block. That was a key component of deciding this location – the business choice would have left us in public school with a completely different culture. Additionally, we would have been in a partnership of some sort — many frustrations there too. The pressure to succeed would have been great in a field we know little about.
The positives would have been there too. The opportunity to grow a business and feel the success. The ability to make decisions without having to consider so many people questioning the decision.
