welcome to the last few years of my life. If you find any answers let me know.
In the last year, you’ve moved across country, moved your business, bought a new house, and your shepherd has been through a very rough bit with the church’s board of elders where it looked like he might well lose his pastorate. Your friends are half a continent away, and you haven’t really had time to make new ones, especially at the level of the old ones.
And your favorite football team is half a continent away too!!!!
You feel lousy, but you’re really just in reaction to the incredible stresses of this past year. Your feelings are real and reasonable – but they are temporary. You’re doing okay, your competences haven’t deserted you, and God has seen your family through some very difficult times. Just let it all ride – “You” will be back to normal in awhile. Just in a much more beautiful state of the Union then before!
I think it is mostly the football thing.
