Church’s Reaction

The Shepherd had 2-3 people ask about Ed’s resignation.  A church of several hundred people and there are 2-3 people who are interested in the resignation of an elder.  Either the people are indifferent or beat down.  Is there another explanation as to why so few would notice or care?  Or,  perhaps in the interest of stopping gossip, the entire communication of the church has become based on gossip?
