How is this for pitiful? It is Thanksgiving and we are home… by ourselves waiting for time to pass. We have a destination this evening, but nothing for the day.
So the shepherd and I are discussing the likelihood of him being fired in a week. He does not think it is likely. I think it is. I think Rob gives the shepherd a fighting chance. But the review received from Marv tells me the elders are ready to take action and they are not happy with things at the church and blame the shepherd for those things.
If the most docile is giving the shepherd poor marks, there is a problem. I think Tom, the associate pastor, is whispering in the ears of the elders. I think the elders don’t like the radical nature of application the shepherd brings. I think they will feel really sad, but will fire the Shepherd.
I sincerely hope you are wrong. But if you are not….would you like fries with that?
I did take a nap. I tried to deny it, but it is true. Isn’t that what Thanksgiving is really all about?
