The shepherd has real hope Ed will be off the board next week – either by resignation or removal. I have real hope the elders will ask the shepherd to remain on staff and lead this flock. What I am not sure of is the shepherd’s energy to do this. We essentially would be starting from scratch.
All of the dynamics would be different. All of the the “inside knowledge” we now know is tainted. All of the perceived future plans and ideas would have to be thought through again. Is there enough energy to start all over?
